Our escape rooms

E4C Escape Racism

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion.”

There was a world and a time when triangles, circles and squares lived together in peace and harmony. They spent their whole time discovering their own shape and the most hidden sides of the others, playing to fit each other and giving life to the most incredible shapes. One day one of them built an airplane and began to climb high in the sky until he reached a height that allowed him to see their island from above. Once back on the ground, he revealed to everyone a shocking news: the island was triangular in shape!

Since that day the triangles began to consider themselves the real rulers of the island, claiming to have more rights than others because of their shape. As a result of all the discrimination that followed, a war began on the island, involving all geometric figures.

Physical and mental disability, gender difference, origin and ethnicity, social class... the sources of discrimination are many but they all share a common trait: they highlight the differences between people, ignoring the equal rights they hold. The objective of this escape room is to encourage participants to reflect on the various forms that "racism" can take, helping them to understand even the most hidden forms of discrimination that happen before our eyes in everyday life.

This Escape Room is built in collaboration with Associazione Eufemia within the Escape Racism – Toolbox to promote inclusive communities, co-financed by the European Commission within the Erasmus + KA2 program and by the Cassa di Risparmio di Torino.
